Antalya - Silifke - Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale
Day 1: Arrival Antalya
Arrival at Antalya International Airport. In assistance of our local professional tour-guide, transfer by bus to hotel in Antalya for overnight. Welcome-Cocktail at the hotel.
Day 2 : Antalya - Silifke
Breakfast and departure for Mersin well-known as Turkish California. En route visits to antic sites Perge (Greco-Roman theater, Stadium-One of the best preserved stadiums of antiquity, Tomb of Plancia Magna, Agora-a large square 65x65 m. in area, Roman baths, The Bishopric Basilica of Perge, Acropolis, Nymphaion i.e. fountain from Hadrian‘ s period), Side (City Wall, Main Gate, City Fountain, Aqueduct, Colonnaded Street, Agora, Theater, Monumental Gate) , Aspendos-The only city besides Side which was minting silver coins by early 5th century (Agora, Basilica, Market Hall, Nymphaion, Aqueduct-One of the most impressive Roman aqueducts to be found in Turkey, Theater, Stadium).Drive to east to Silifke-Seleukia a city founded by Seleukos I at the beginning of 3rd century B.C. and visits to Church of St. Thekla dating from the 5th century A.D., Korykos known by the local inhabitants as Cennet and Cehennem (Heaven and Hell), Pompeipolis and Olba-Diocaesarea located 30 km. North of Silifke are some of the most important and best preserved ruins in Turkey among them are Temple of Zeus Olbios, The Tychaion-Temple dedicated to the goddess of good Fortune, Theater, Tomb, Tower, Gymnasium. Dinner and overnight in Silifke or Mersin.
Day 3: Silifke - Cappadocia
Breakfast and departure for Cappadocia. En route visits to Tarsus (Tars) including House of St. Paul’s, Cleopatra & Antonius Gate. On the way to Cappadocia visit to Monastery Eski Gumus and underground City of Kaymakli. Arrival Cappadocia for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 : Cappadocia
Whole day in mystic valley of
Day 5: Cappadocia - Aksaray - Konya
Breakfast and departure for Konya, en route visit to famous Caravanserai in Sultanhani. Continue and by the arrival Konya visits to Mevlana Djallaladini Rumi’ Mosque, Mausoleum and Theological School Karatay. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Konya - Pamukkale
Departure for Pamukkale - Cotton Fortress and en route visit to Hierapolis-One of the most famed of the ruins surviving from antiquity, (City Baths, Christian Basilica, Monumental fountain, Temple of Apollo, Theater, Martyrium of St. Philip, Necropolis-Containing tumuli, sarcophagi and house-shaped tombs, it represents one of the best preserved of the ancient cemeteries in Turkey.) to Pamukkale-The magnificent cotton-white plateau formed by the travertine deposits of the calcium oxide. Afternoon at leisure, dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Pamukkale - Antalya
Breakfast and departure to Antalya. En route visit to Nysa (Gymnasium, Stadium, Library, Theater, Roman Bridge, Tunnel, Bouleuterion, Agora, Roman Baths, Basin, Necropolis) and Aphrodisias (Acropolis, Theater, Temple of Aphrodite, Odeion, Agora, Portico of Tiberius, Baths of Hadrian, Stadium). Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
Day 8: Antalya and departure
Full day at leisure or optional tours. Transfer to Airport for return flight back to home.
